Organization URL
How your organization's web address works and how to change it.
Overview
Every organization has its own web address built from a short slug — a lowercase, hyphenated identifier that appears in the URL. When you open an organization, its pages live under:
/app/<your-org-slug>/...For example, an organization with the slug acme has its dashboard at
/app/acme, its activity log at /app/acme/activity-log, and its settings at
/app/acme/settings. Because the organization is part of the address, these
links are shareable and bookmarkable — opening one takes you (and your
teammates) straight to that organization.
Opening an organization's link automatically switches you into that organization, as long as you're a member. If you open a link for an organization you don't belong to, you'll see a "not found" page and your current organization stays selected.
Personal and Admin Pages
A few pages aren't tied to a specific organization and use fixed addresses
under /app:
| Page | Address |
|---|---|
| Your organizations | /app |
| Personal account settings | /app/settings |
| Platform admin | /app/admin |
Changing Your Organization's Slug
Organization owners and admins can change the slug at any time.
Go to Settings → General for your organization.
In the Organization URL section, enter a new slug. A live preview shows the full address your organization will use.
Save. You stay on the same page, now under the new slug, and the change is recorded in your organization's activity log.
Slug Rules
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Characters | Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only |
| Length | Between 3 and 48 characters |
| Uniqueness | No two organizations can share a slug |
| Reserved words | Words used by fixed pages (such as admin, settings, onboarding) can't be used |
Changing the slug immediately breaks the old address. Any existing links or bookmarks that used the previous slug will stop working, so update shared links after you change it.
