Language

How the app picks the language for your account.

Overview

The app is available in English and Portuguese (Brazil). When you visit for the first time, the app detects your browser language automatically and displays the interface in the closest supported language.

Changing Your Language

Open the user menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
Choose Language, then the language you want.
The interface switches straight away, and your choice is saved to your profile.

Your language decides the shape of dates and numbers as well as the wording — month names, the order of day and month, and the decimal and grouping separators. It never changes which moment a time refers to, and it never converts money. See Timezone.

How Your Language Is Chosen

The app picks a language in this order:

Your saved preference, once you've chosen one. Your selection is remembered across sessions and devices.

Your account default, if you're signed in and have a language saved to your profile.

Your browser language, when no preference is stored yet. The first request you make is inspected so the app can render in the right language right away.

English, as the fallback if no other rule matches.

Supported Languages

LanguageCodeWhen it applies
EnglishenDefault for everyone, and selected when your browser is set to English or any unsupported language.
Português (Brasil)pt-BRSelected when your browser language is Portuguese (any variant — Brazil, Portugal, or generic).

If your browser is set to a language outside this list (for example French or Spanish), the app will display in English. We will add more languages over time.
